After having spent the major part of his life in Switzerland where he graduated with a Bachelor and a Master of Law from the University of Fribourg, Alessandro sought a new challenge and decided to expand his legal knowledge in the United-States. In 2018, Alessandro graduated from the University of San Diego School of Law with a LL.M. in Comparative Law with a concentration in Business & Corporate Law. During his LL.M., Alessandro was a research assistant for Professor Saucet and interned at the Entrepreneurship Clinic.
As a research assistant, Alessandro worked on cutting-edge legal issues such as smart contracts and the future of artificial intelligence in the legal field. At the Entrepreneurship Clinic Alessandro provided legal services targeting high technology business startups and other emerging growth companies.
Before joining Gupta Evans and Ayres as an Associate Attorney, Alessandro clerked at two law firms where he gained extensive US legal experience. Alessandro’s experience includes restructuring corporate entities and drafting key contracts between LLCs and drafting letters rogatory for discovery of information under the Hague Convention and enforcement of international judgments under the New York Convention. Fluent in English, French, Italian, German, and with good knowledge of Spanish Alessandro thrives in an international environment and brings both the experience acquired in Switzerland and in the United-States when he approaches a legal situation.
What do you do when you’re not working?
When Alessandro is not working, he takes every chance he has to get on a plane at 14,000 feet and leap out into the open sky and start freefalling. Skydiving brings him not only new physical sensations but also an influx of intense emotions. Beside skydiving, Alessandro loves scuba diving because of the serenity he finds under the surface.
If you were to look back from the age of 80 and tell yourself anything what would it be?
Enjoy the ride and stop chasing infinite goals. Adopt a well oriented system that will create the behaviors you need to achieve success.
What are two things on your bucket list?
1. Skydiving in Dubai
2. Travel to Space
