Emilie was born and raised in Temecula, California and moved to North County, San Diego three years ago where she has enjoyed the weather and being closer to the beach. She graduated in 2022 with a Bachelors in English from UC Riverside and obtained her paralegal certificate in 2023 from UC San Diego’s Extension School. She worked in the restaurant industry for seven years and has spent the last three working as a Mental Health Specialist with youths aged 12-17. She’s found that she has a passion for problem solving and helping others which has influenced her desire to work in the mental health field as well as the legal field. In her free time, Emilie can usually be found at the dog park with her golden retriever, Griffin, or crocheting stuffed animals, gifts for loved ones, or working on her latest tapestry project.
