We successfully helped a client prevent the forced sale of her property. Client had a lien on her property based on an outstanding judgment against her. The judgment creditor filed a motion for the sale of our Client’s property. In opposition, we argued that the property, despite being titled in our Client’s name, in fact belonged to her parents. The judge held an evidentiary hearing, at which we successfully showed that the property rightfully belonged to our Client’s parents, despite the fact that legal title was held in our Client’s name.
